Author Guidelines

General Instructions

The following information should be given in alphabetical order:

  • Sequence of authors
  • List of References.

Manuscript Submission

Submission of an original manuscript indicates that the work described has not been published already and is not under consideration for publication anywhere. All co-authors, responsible authorities, or the institute where the work has been carried out, approved the manuscript. The publisher will not be conducted legitimately responsible should there be any appeals for compensation.

Permissions

If authors wish to include figures, tables, or text passages that have previously been circulated somewhere else is compulsory to take approval from the copyright owner(s) for an online format and to provide proof that such approval has been permitted when submitting their papers. Any information received without such confirmation will be expected to commence from the authors.

Online Submission

Please go by the hyperlink “make a submission” on the right and upload all your manuscript files following the instructions given on the screen.

Please make sure to upload all important editable source files. Neglecting to submit these source files could cause needless interruptions in the review process.

Title Page

The title page must have the following information.

Title

The title of the manuscript must be summarizing and informative.

Author information

  • Complete names of authors
  • Affiliations of the authors, i.e., institution, department, city, (state), country
  • Active e-mail addresses of all the corresponding authors
  • 16-digit ORCID of the authors (if available)

Abstract

Keywords

Please provide 4 to 6 keywords that can be used for indexing purposes.

Text

For initial submissions, we require a single (PDF) file containing your manuscript. In case of acceptance, we assist authors to prepare manuscripts using the IJM Latex Template  (We encourage authors to upload the template through Overleaf to easily prepare and edit their manuscripts).

A PDF file only can be used at the time of submission, but after acceptance source files are compulsory, and delivering source files after acceptance may cause a delay in the publication process.

Word files are also accepted (use this template).

Headings

Please use the decimal system of headings with no more than three levels.

Abbreviations

Please define abbreviations at first indication then use them regularly thereafter.

Footnotes

To provide additional information like a citation of a reference included in the reference list, footnotes can be used. A single reference citation, bibliographic details of a reference, and any figures or tables must not be included in footnotes.

of every author to the study and preparation of the manuscript.

Tables

  • Use Arabic numerals to number all the tables.
  • Cite the tables in text in consecutive numerical order.
  • Please supply a caption for each table (title) describing the components of the table.

Figure

  • Provide each figure electronically.
  • Use Arabic numerals to number all the figures.
  • Cite your figure in text in successive numerical order.
  • Figure parts must be labeled by lowercase letters (a, b, c, etc.).
  • Name your figure files with "Fig" and the figure number, e.g., Fig1.eps.
  • Figures must be submitted separately from the text.
  • While preparing figures, size figures to fit in the column width.
  • Every figure must have a brief caption explaining precisely what the figure illustrates.

Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments about people, grants, funds, etc. should be given at the end of the paper but preceding the references.

Reference list

Your references must not be copied and pasted. As a result, it’s important that you format them suitably, as they’ll be electronically connected to external databases whenever possible. References should be listed in alphabetical order according to the surnames of the first author at the end of the paper and should be cited in the text as, e.g., [2] or [2; Theorem 3], etc.

If available, please always include DOIs as full DOI links in your reference list (e.g. “https://doi.org/abc”).

References should be given in the following format: (AMS)
